Michael Collins is a Senior Commercial Broker for the past 38 years, specializing in the brokerage of industrial, commercial and investment properties in the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Southern Ontario.

Currently Michael serves as the President-Elect of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). As Canada's largest real estate board, TREB serves more than 53,000 licensed real estate Brokers and Salespersons in and about the Greater Toronto Area.

He is a Past President of the Brampton Board of Trade having served as President in the year 2003/04 and has also served the real estate industry and his community in a great many other ways. During his 38 years in real estate, he has served his profession by serving twice as President of the Brampton Real Estate Board (BREB) in 1993 and again in 1994. He was a Director of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) in 1997 and served as Chairman of the OREA's Commercial Council for 3 years.  He has served as the Chairperson of the OREA Arbitration and Ethics Committee and as a Vice-Chairperson for the Discipline Committee of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) . Throughout his real estate career, Michael has served on numerous committees with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), the Brampton Real Estate Board (BREB) and the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).  Michael is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI), and is a member of the National Commercial Council of the Canadian Real Estate Association.

Michael served on the Board of Directors of the William Osler Health System from 2005 to 2008. He also volunteered his time on the Health Committee of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Nomination Committee and the Fund Development Committee of the Brampton and Area Community Foundation.

An avid sports enthusiast, Michael enjoys hockey during the winter and golf & sailing throughout the summer.
